ggtern 2.1.5
- Fixed bug to do with theme element rendering, some properties were being ignored (Thanks to Ivan Galvan for picking up on this)
- Created new theme element, and convenience functions, to enable or disable the parsing of text objects into expressions using latex markup. Previously, the parsing was done by default, however now, they are rendered without parsing unless the user states that they wish it to be parsed via the 'tern.plot.latex' theme element, or theme_latex() convenience functions.
- Improved the logic in handling the breaks / minor breaks and labels when they are to be calculated automatically.
- Reworked the theme_mesh function, to now accept an ellipsis term, which is passed through to limits_tern. By this token, theme_mesh now works over a restricted plotting region.
- Improved logic of the getBreaks function, when determining minor breaks
- Fixed bug in validate_element, when validating plot.margin theme elements, thanks to Degang Wu for picking up the problem
- Eliminated some masked functions (theme_get, theme_set), reverting back to the ggplot2 originals.

ggtern 2.1.4 (2016-07-22)
- Create grid_mesh convenience function
- Created getLabels function to better handle the creation of the ternary labels, from the known breaks. Have set the earliest label to empty (ie ""), so it doesn't interfere with the axis titles, particularly if the axis titles and first label are wide (ie something like "Top Species" and "50.%" respectively). This is not generally a problem for the default plot where the axis titles and first label are trivial (ie something like "T" and "0")
- Added Some Basic Demo's under /demo
- Minor fixes to themes
- Reviewed the geom_mask, removing two of the hidden layers, as they are now unnessessary

ggtern 2.1.3 (2016-07-15)
- Reverted Method arguments in geom_interpolate_tern, errors being raised when 'auto' set as
- Completely reworked the theme inheritence tree, and theme construction methods, including a base 'dummy' theme (theme_ggtern, which appends and includes all the additional theme elements to the default ggplot2 theme.
- Removed the root theme elements for ggtern, in favour of inheriting from ggplot2
- Swapped the theme elements, tern.plot.background and tern.panel.background to be more in-line with the corresponding
plot.background and panel.background in the parent package.
- Provided ggtern version for the 'annotate' function
- Major reworking of the coord_tern axis rendering routine, to work better with the geom_mask, insomuch as that when the mask is not used, all elements are rendered on the background. When the mask is used, the background rendering is suppressed, and the respective elements are rendered on the mask instead, and if they are brought to the front (via theme_gridsontop), then they are suppressed on the background, and the mask, and rendered in the foreground. Have also segregated the various components to clearly indicate when the ticks, borders, grids, background, labels and titles are rendered.
- Merged theme_bordersontop with theme_gridsontop
- Changed the default breaks to now include the minimum value, permitting the next item:
- Modification of the theme_novar_tern to also discard the tern.axis.line.X (X=T,L,R) theme element.
- Modified plot construction routine to remove the clipping mask (say if they have been manually added) if the 'tern.panel.mask.show' theme element is set to FALSE. This ensures the convenience function theme_nomask() strictly means "Don't Show Clipping Mask"
ggtern 2.1.2 (2016-07-05)
- Fixed bug in themes, some of the theme elements were being ignored
- Added convenience function, and theme element, to turn on or off the clipping mask automatic addition
- interpolate_tern, automatic bins / breaks now determined prior to transformation to inverse log ratio space. Also, bins / breaks argument defined (was previously not included in signature), and also introduced the ability
to conduct interpolation on both ilr and cartesian coordinate system, similar to stat_density_tern etc...
ggtern 2.1.1 (2016-03-31)
- Fixed bug introduced in previous update, where the manual mask addition was being ignored.
- Fixed is.logical(na.rm) bug to do with bad ellipsis placement in stats and geoms

- Applied label formatter to all labels (title, legend etc...), not just ternary specific labels
- Fixed bug in theme_custom(...)
- Fixed bug in how the order of axis label preferences ie, Tarrow << yarrow << T << y << default etc...
- Created geom_ternary_crosshar new geometry
- Added some custom legend keys for new geometries
- Fixed bug with the hshift and vshift theme elements, reduced them to numeric candidates
- Added Tmark, Lmark and Rmark, new geometries being the components of the geom_crosshair_tern.

ggtern 1.0.6.1 (2015-10-12)
- Replaced the padding argument of the coord_tern constructor, with an insertion of rows and columns around the main panel in the rendering routine, with an associated theme element 'panel.margin.tern', which is distinct from and not to be confused with 'plot.margin' or 'panel.margin'
- Better logic in determining the major and minor breaks in the event that the user does not specify explicitly
- Fixed a bug in the Confidence Levels, when inf values where being generaged in the isometric log ratio calculation.
- Alterations to the theme_custom constructors, for consistency with the theme element names

ORIGINAL SUPERCEDED BY ALIASES
theme_tern_bw() -> theme_bw()
theme_tern_gray() -> theme_gray() theme_grey()
theme_tern_rgbg() -> theme_rgbg() theme_rgb()
theme_tern_rgbw() -> theme_rgbw()

with that of ggplot2, in terms of the minor and major colors for the default theme_gray.
- Error protocols for version control implemented, same as ggplot2, however, for ggtern.
- New theme elements option for putting ticks INSIDE or OUTSIDE of the axis, OUTSIDE is default.
Convenience functions also created theme_ticksoutside() and theme_ticksinside()

- element_ternary fully depreciated in favour of individual theme elements.
- Added functionality for 'secondary ticks' and convenience functions theme_showsecondary(), theme_hidesecondary(), theme_showprimary(), theme_hideprimary()
BUG FIXES
- Correction to logic in .theme_new internal function
- Correction to theme_nogrid(), so that it could be 'added' to other themes.
- Correction to theme element logic when switching between printing of ggplot2 and ggtern objects.
- Ticks rendered after grid, previously it was the other way around,
obvious since inside ticks have been introduced.
- last_coord set to NULL during onLoad, originally it was set to coord_tern(), which was necessary for the default theme elements, however,
is presumptuous in terms of what te user will actually plot.
- Correction of padding by aspect ratio, which was introducing small errrors in ticks, noticiable for long tick sizes.
- Restructured cood_tern() and how it renderd the ternary elements, distinct functions were broken off from the main render_bg routine.
- Correction to throwing points in geom_smooth set, when coordinate limits != c(0,1)
- .theme_nocart(), which destroys all cartesian theme elements, is now applied EVERY TIME a ggtern object is rendered. Previously, if a new theme (say theme_bw()) is applied to an EXISTING ggtern plot (ie plot + theme_bw()), some cartesian theme elements were creeping back into the plot.
ggtern 1.0.1.3 (2013-12-18)
- Package accepted for CRAN
BUG FIXES
- Coordinate system was not working as expected when theme_clockwise()
was used.
