The focus is on Bayesian inference, making it very easy to setup a new design with its own JAGS code. However, it is also possible to implement 3+3 designs for comparison or models with non-Bayesian estimation. The whole package is written in a modular form in the S4 class system, making it very flexible for adaptation to new models, escalation or stopping rules. authors: - family-names: Sabanes Bove given-names: Daniel email: daniel.sabanes_bove@rconis.com - family-names: Yin Yeung given-names: Wai email: winnie.yeung@roche.com - family-names: Palermo given-names: Giuseppe email: giuseppe.palermo@roche.com - family-names: Jaki given-names: Thomas email: jaki.thomas@gmail.com preferred-citation: type: article title: Model-Based Dose Escalation Designs in R with crmPack authors: - family-names: Saban\'es given-names: Daniel name-suffix: Bov\'e - family-names: Yeung given-names: Wai Yin - family-names: Palermo given-names: Giuseppe email: giuseppe.palermo@roche.com - family-names: Jaki given-names: Thomas email: jaki.thomas@gmail.com journal: Journal of Statistical Software year: '2019' volume: '89' issue: '10' doi: 10.18637/jss.v089.i10 start: '1' end: '22' repository: https://CRAN.R-project.org/package=crmPack repository-code: https://github.com/openpharma/crmPack url: https://github.com/openpharma/crmPack date-released: '2024-06-26' contact: - family-names: Sabanes Bove given-names: Daniel email: daniel.sabanes_bove@rconis.com
