The success probability equals the lower asymptote plus the difference between the two asymptotes multiplied by the logistic function of a linear predictor. The lower and upper asymptotes can be either estimated or fixed. With a single predictor such as log dose, this is the four-parameter logistic (Hill) model. Posterior computation is a full Gibbs sampler that requires no tuning. authors: - family-names: Lee given-names: Minji email: leeminji@unist.ac.kr - family-names: Lee given-names: Chang Hyeong - family-names: Kim given-names: Ryung S. preferred-citation: type: unpublished title: A Novel Bayesian Phase 1/2 Design Incorporating the Hill Equation authors: - family-names: Lee given-names: Minji email: leeminji@unist.ac.kr - family-names: Lee given-names: Chang Hyeong - family-names: Kim given-names: Ryung S. notes: Manuscript in preparation repository: https://cran.r-universe.dev commit: 71e496d4cbc6be179b7cdfb1ecd3154483fc2380 date-released: '2026-10-21' contact: - family-names: Lee given-names: Minji email: leeminji@unist.ac.kr references: - type: unpublished title: 'boundedHill: Bayesian Logistic Regression with Lower and Upper Asymptotes in R' authors: - family-names: Lee given-names: Minji - family-names: Lee given-names: Chang Hyeong - family-names: Kim given-names: Ryung S. notes: Manuscript in preparation - type: manual title: 'boundedHill: Bayesian Logistic Regression with Lower and Upper Asymptotes' authors: - family-names: Lee given-names: Minji - family-names: Lee given-names: Chang Hyeong - family-names: Kim given-names: Ryung S. year: '2026' notes: R package version 0.1.0
