When planning a study on a target species, the\nretentionmort_generation() function can be used to produce\nmultiple synthetic mark-recapture datasets to anticipate the\nerror associated with a planned field study to guide method\ndevelopment to reduce error. Similarly, if field data was\nalready collected, the retentionmort() function can be used to\npredict the error from already generated data to adjust for\nuser-based mortality and tag loss. The\ntest_dataset_retentionmort() function will provide an example\ndataset of how data should be inputted into the function to run\nproperly. Lastly, the retentionmort_figure() function can be\nused on any dataset generated from either model function to\nproduce an 'rmarkdown' printout of preliminary analysis\nassociated with the model, including summary statistics and\nfigures.
