  "Description": "Provides functions for generating partially replicated\n(p-rep) test-control designs for early generation varietal\ntrials conducted across multiple environments. The package\nimplements three construction methods for obtaining efficient\np-rep test-control designs with one or more control treatments.\nThe package extends the partially replicated design framework\nof Vinaykumar et al. (2026) <doi:10.1007/s12355-025-01684-1> to\naccommodate test-control comparisons in breeding trials.\nFunctions are also provided for generating randomized and\nnon-randomized layouts and for evaluating designs using average\nvariance measures for test-versus-test and test-versus-control\ncomparisons, together with canonical efficiency factors. The\nproposed designs are useful for large-scale varietal evaluation\ntrials where a large number of test lines are assessed under\nlimited experimental resources.",
