  "Description": "Computationally efficient tools for high dimensional\npredictive modeling (regression and classification). SAM is\nshort for sparse additive modeling, and adopts the\ncomputationally efficient basis spline technique. We solve the\noptimization problems by various computational algorithms\nincluding the block coordinate descent algorithm, fast\niterative soft-thresholding algorithm, and newton method. The\ncomputation is further accelerated by warm-start and active-set\ntricks.",
