## Introduction

*The developed function can be used to create spatial grids using user-specified latitude and longitude coordinates. To make sure the input longitude and latitude values are within the proper geographic ranges, the function first verifies their validity. The appropriate Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) zone is then identified using the provided hemisphere and longitude values, after which a polygon is constructed from the coordinates. Subsequently, transform the input shapefile to the UTM projection when necessary. Finally, a spatial grid is generated with the specified interval and saved as a shapefile.The function takes into account crucial parameters such as the hemisphere (north or south), desired grid interval, and the output shapefile path. The developed function is an efficient tool, simplifying the process of empty spatial grid generation for applications such as, geostatistical analysis, digital soil mapping product generation, etc.*
